PTS Management and Coordination Centre to be Finished by End of Year

The management and coordination centre at the Granada Health Science Technological Park (PTS) will be finished by the end of the year. The new centre will be in the refurbished Cortijo Nuevo de las Angustias, a building on a plot of public land granted by Granada City Council. The refurbishment work is being financed by the Spanish Government, through its “Plan E”, and the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Business of the Autonomous Government of Andalusia.

Call for Entries for the 6th Health Science Prize

The president of the Caja Rural Foundation, Antonio León, the vice-chancellor of the University of Granada´s Health Science Technological Park (PTS), Ignacio Molina, the director of the PTS Foundation, Jesús Quero, and the president of the College of Physicians of Granada, Javier de la Teresa, have announced the call for entries for the sixth edition of the Health Science Prize. The deadline for entries is the 31st of March 2010.

The Spanish Minister of Science and Innovation, Cristina Garmendia, has visited several technology-based companies at the Granada Health Science Technological Park (PTS). During her visit to the PTS, Ms Garmendia also had a look at the work that is being done there as part of the Government’s “Plan E”, primarily the ongoing refurbishment of the Cortijo Nuevo de las Angustias building, which will house the Park’s future management and coordination centre as well as the headquarters of the PTS Foundation.
